They chew us up and spit us out
and us are left with sod all,
nowt.

things'll change
just wait and see.

Society as we know it
will cease to exist
until then
I
guess when used up
we are useless,
discarded,
empty
of
all emotion

and we'll end up in
some vast ocean
to float aimlessly
until eternity
decrees
another fate

and that other fate
is the wait and see
the beginnings of
a brand new society

I have waited a lifetime
and I may wait ten more
but the old guard
can't keep that door
shut forever.

Never give up as
the
spider has shown
or
a giant oak from
a tiny acorn

ideas are born
and will die
unless
and
I guess
our time hasn't
come yet.
