I wish the nostalgic music would play
Warming my moody soul
Let it pierce like silver pins
And make the hole
Through which my tears would flow
I wish the pain would act
Rather than sit quietly numb
I wish for more than a heartfelt sigh
A mad tearing of hair would do
Just let it not be mine
