Out of the corner of your eye
You spot the hesitancy.
That moments pause;
Brief
In an eternity.
And you wished you had looked away.

But-
it's too late now.
That curious eye you have,
The ability to see and feel,
(that which cannot be seen or felt)
They've let you down.
It would be better if you had been blinded,
(by the Sun, not illness).

"...if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and castΒ itΒ from thee"
always trust your gut
