I was the writer behind his poem.
Describing in words that he couldn't speak.
I was his determination.
To make your heart melt and be weak.

I was the one.
That attracted you to him.
And I'm the one you never notice.

From my perspective.
You chasing a dream.
And I'm not jealous by any means.

I live in this world of reality.
While noticing you live by illusion.
I was the one.
That got you together.
While being the one you never notice.

And, now when you tell him.
He's not the same as he use to be.
I believe he is.
Because he lived in reality.
Trying to bring an illusion.
That you wanted to be.
And I'm the one you never notice.

Now that the relationship has ended.
You feels the need to tell me.
What the two of us could be?
But I was the one you never notice.
Until I wrote a poem.
