Poems
Feb 2018
.boilings.
would have killed
the washing
in the old days.
only white cotton.
machine on boilies
by mistake,
i fretted over the
red blouse,
with lemon cardigan,
and softis underwear.
oh the miracle of modern fabric,
when the door eventually opened,
i found not red runny,
nor shrunken woolly,
but just clean washingβ¦..
the miracles of modernity.
