I don’t know how to live without you
So many ups and downs we’ve been through
I don’t feel independent, but I’m not sure if that’s right or wrong
We used to walk for hours and drive while singing along
Is boredom inevitable?
Is it just the way things go?
You cling to a security blanket thinking without it you couldn’t cope
But we are adaptable to change and growth
Stood at a crossroad, you can’t choose both
Do you stick to the familiar path you know
Dwelling in ‘what ifs’ glow
Or throw it to the wind
Where nothing’s underpinned
