Reflections.
I sit and watch the world go by,
As the witness stares,
As the planet cries.
An opening reflection,
Into all that we are,
Is what's seen between us,
And seen from afar.
The truth is just,
With a mind that's not,
Creating illusions,
As we slowly lose the plot.
Writing chapters,
In the sand,
With the ever changing wind,
And an unsteady hand.
Pulling emotions,
Going this way and that,
As we drift in the ocean,
Taking stories from a hat.
I search for truth,
But feel I'm that,
Falling back into the witness,
I'm still here, just sat.
