TODAY I STOP
She never really cared
but I was on fire for her.
Today I Stop setting myself
on fire for people who will sit back
and watch me burn.
Cruelty is wrought on her.
Pretending to be religious,
but wolf in sheep skin.
Tells the tale of all
the rich men she knows,
said she's not after material things,
Self-righteousness she carries about.
Known to all the men
of riches and influence.
None she settled down with.
Always giving excuses on
why she can't be with anyone.
She demands to be helped
on her own terms,
without sacrificing anything.
Life has a lot of lessons to teach,
she didn't learn anything
from the experience of living.
Life is about give and take.
What you sow, you reap.
