Randy the robot
Randy the Robot
was a little robo tot.
He never went anywhere
and he did not think that was fair.
He was stuck in the lab
and he always tried to grab
a toy of some kind
just whatever he could find.
He would start to play
and play and play away.
This would bring him such joy
until his maker would say "This is not a toy!"
Randy felt that he was missing a part.
This part was a heart.
He was curious how it felt to beat
and how it fluttered ever so sweet.
He would ask his maker to make one.
He explained how it would be fun
but his maker would say a lot
that a heart is not made for a robot.
His maker began to see
that Randy was not very happy.
So he made his creation a heart
and how Randy was ready to restart.
Randy opened his robot eyes
and due to a pleasant surprise
Randy's new heart began to beat
and with joy it fluttered ever so sweet.
