The forest quite and peaceful,
Swarming with life,
The trees are alive,
The animals are alive,
I finally feel alive,
The sun breaking through the tops of the tallest trees,
Bouncing of the fresh dew,
Moss thick covered trees,
Wet sodden forest floor leaves,
Natures song ringing in my ears,
The crickets soft chirping chours,
I am at home here,
Tentative creatures poke there head out to observe,
I coo to them, telling them it alright,
And a small shivering pond,
Beauty and all,
Reflects the forest,
And the tress unimaginably tall,
I look peacefully at my reflection,
My eyes glowing green,
And no hint of my earlier distress,
But a new happy sheen
Slowly the forest animals come out of hiding,
And I am again at home
