Sea
You're like a sea

Thoughts of you wash over me

Soon enough,

Thoughts of you drown me

Not in a bad way

But to the point where the only person I can think of is you.

I love thinking of you, but then the thoughts start to change,

My anxiety whispers lies into my ears, about how you don't love me

Even though you said you do

That you don't want me,

But that's not what your arms around me suggest.

You are a sea,

And I'm a rock that your waves wash over.
