Dec 2017
I graze my hand over my chest
my heart is so cold.
the room is dark around me
I search for something to help bring the warmth back
I lay alone in the dark, cold and unforgiving.
my eyes become heavy
I drift off to sleep.

In my sleep I dream of you
my whole world slowly begins to brighten
I graze my hand over your chest
your heart is so warm
I smile in my sleep
Now so is mine
