don't leave me sitting beside myself
birthing emotions, spilling pain
opening a vein
watching a river of life
spill upon an open plain

don't leave me breathing, panting
screaming obscenities, mouthing love
eating nothing but dirt
asking for nothing from above

don't leave me empty of platitudes
just because you choose
to give life
to everything
living inside you
it would be a shame
that you spilled your blood
upon my page
and left me without a name
don't ever leave your masterpiece 'Untitled' everything you write deserves a name, no matter how long it takes to decide on it ;-) You gave birth to it, the least you can do is care for it...
