A poem I conjured you
To personify my lust
In my hope, bid your endorse
Before all faith is crushed

Certain aspects I’ll illustrate
Such as the way you hold your lips
And the way your body shivered
As it brushed my finger tips

The way we spent the night
Skin falling in my arms
And how we watched sunrises’
Paired with your scent and charms

Gravity fostered our hold
For that night and that moment
But we were both foretold
Our due was for postponement

As there just wasn’t time
For our limerence and indulgence
Even though it could be caused
By love’s own seduction

And I know of what you’ll ask
If I keep patience for the time
Till the day you hold me
And it will be sublime.
