I think you knew you’d be in my poetry. I think you knew that every line would secretly be about you, Every ****** word pouring out what's left of my heart Like I am screaming at you but no words are coming out. And you are just smiling at me because you know. You know the front I put on. I told you too much. I broke my rule for you. I’m not supposed to fall in love. It's not what I am designed to do, I am a soldier, of a war that cannot be won by either side. I'm fighting against a militia of thousands of poets And my words are cemented to the walls of my diaphragm I cant win this war but I can sure as hell hate you while I try.
