My Woodpecker
Those little pecks,
That little spark.
The little tears,
That strain my heart.
My woodpecker you were,
My woodpecker you will be.
And dead you were.
And dead you will be.
Silence it what I got,
Not the simple pecking.
No more late night talks.
No more simple chatting.
I miss you to death.
You were my best of friends.
Death is what got you.
Goodbye my old friend.
My dead woodpecker.
