Look But Don’t Touch
Pictures are claimed to be worth one thousand words

While words are merely spoken sounds from another’s mouth

They do not touch, nor prove anything but a spoken dream.

A view from another picture that never feels nor hears another’s screams

Human interaction and touch are needed more than “daydreams”

In moments of sadness or despair

or simply just needing someone to physically to be there

Why are pictures anything but memories and or dream?

If another in this photo, whom you desperately needed, cannot be there.

why must it be a provocation, from a photo, in which teardrops fall upon

and the empty space of their existence with you never is earned through a view

in any form of medium

To ease the pain of feeling like the lone gun who must sit in cold and empty airs

to never collect another’s feelings that equals out the emptiness by their net-worth

indescribable in moment weighed sums?
