I reconnected with the girl of my dreams
The fire was still burning at the seams
Soon I uttered one fatal lie
It was my undoing
I couldn't tell you if you asked me why
But this love of mine
She is so beautiful and so fine
I write most of these poems for and because of her
With the hopes that she will see
That my love is as strong as her love for me
I'll cross the sea climb over mountains and do anything just to by her side
To show her that this was more than a joyride
There is one thing she must know
I will be here till the end of time
If she needs me anytime,anyplace,anywhere
My love for her it will never die
Like the tears that continue to fall from my eyes
