Resentments And Dregs

With tattered coat and weathered face
He walks the frozen streets and begs.
For winter home, a heating grate,
His daily fare, resentments and dregs.

He curls into a fetal ball
To give some warmth to arms and legs.
The horrid dreams come often now
Dark issue of, resentments and dregs.
