"One in a Million"

time to change the dials on the clock
            looks like melt to me
blue elders older than they want
                long to live forever
                         in young bodies
            looks like dream
pound for pound we'll bury you
              whoever you are
                    and we're crazy enough
                             to do it
splatter your brains with a 357
                 walk away and leave
                            your precious coveted things
                                in your pocket
                                in your ground
             for the scavengers
then on we go to find another blood pumping skull
                trained killers ****
                    socialized anger spills
                           on to the newspapers
                                  front page
                      looks like your paycheck
                          will never end
                                  continued on page 10
       we all blame them sometimes
              curse them
                     hate them
                          pity they
only exist as a conditioned human consciousness
                          shaped and made
looks like only 1 in a million
                       is genetically forced
                               to be them
                                    and they
feels like 2 year old being told no
looks like normal where we are
                here here bravo
                         the trigger gets pulled
then squint in the mirror and ask yourself
                      why did I do that
