Praise poem.
In the mountains I can
lose my thoughts,
escape from daily care;
at peace with sun and shadow,
knowing He is there.
To guide my wayward steps,
to keep me on His road;
to lift from off my shoulders,
my weary, heavy, load.
In the hillsides I am lost,
yet my heart can find the way;
my soul is filled with love,
for the living of this day.
For the blessings of His Word,
for the promises He gives;
for a quiet, restful mind,
for the faith in Him that lives.
In the ridges of the peaks,
and wherever I do roam;
I can say I'm never lost...
He always walks me home.
