Put in the hold and told I am old
a cargo of worn out and useless
but
I was the captain once
and
ruled over my sea,
Neptune, Poseidon and me
were as close as could
possibly be

Look at me now,
not worth the bill of lading
they've written me on
but
I have sunk into your memory
dredged through your dreams
I am your skeleton coast
the screams that you'll cry out
when the seas have
all dried out
your hour glass sand
the hand that you'll reach for
the one you asked more from
when you knew me as
'long John'

Keelhaul away
clap me in the brig

I have nothing to give
anymore.
