If I could paint a picture now,
   depicting what love is;
A portrait cloaked in silent views,
   would look a bit like this:

With softest tones I'd paint a beach,
   with golden tinted sand;
Depicting how He formed ALL things,
   with sculptor's driven hands.

Now take a look, I'm sure you'll see,
     small diamonds top the waves;
As crescent moon lights up the sky,
   to mark an end to day.

The stars break out in awesome glow,
    cool breeze wafts ore' the land;
And with each step we take in life,
   our footprints marks the sand.

This masterpiece of our true love,
   would be of ocean scene;
Depicting what it's all about,
   this love 'twixt you and me.
