Messages from the grocery store,
we sell
tunes written by a wandering troubadour
nothing much here and I'm looking for more
messages from the grocery store,

And at Christmas,
we're broke on the cross
all about profit and loss
******* out there do not
give a toss
messages from the grocery store.

four degrees
we're all going to freeze
and the price rises for a packet
of peas
greedy ******* do as they please
messages from the grocery store.

We look up to the man
because
we're all down the pan
perhaps that's the plan,
messages from the grocery store
stuck in aisle three
and I'm looking for more.
