Thermostatic control
Eighty seven degrees,
but she gives me that look
and I freeze,
jeez
what did I do that was wrong
that
she makes me wait
for so long?
She has me on vertical hold
and I wonder if she knows
that I'm getting old
'hanging on the Siegfried line'
trying to gain a little bit of time
and
hoping that one day
she'll be mine,
but it's better than
giving up.
