In Your Mind's Eye
Sensitive meanings from empty words,
reset the subject's perception;
Into the mind in honored time,
becomes reality's connection.
Seeing is believing but trust awaits,
from the pillar of hyperbole;
Amidst the looming lightning strike,
the answers gather openly.
As if a memory passed along,
the river of deep contention;
Each vision proves its worthiness,
while reflecting life's projection.
In eyes which widen with ecstasy,
a costly price is duly paid;
And where the road curves slowly,
we're aghast at what's relayed.
