I have stood atop a mountain
(in Wales) twice
-I walked up her slopes
and stood upon her crown

She was kind to me, this mountain
and accepted my feeble footfall
- watching each step I took
(cupping me in her ancient arms)

To be atop a mountain
you fall in love
and you know its a love
(so very very personal)
