Life begins with a bang, an unexpected coalition of outside forces, chemicals crash together in a fury of unforeseen proportions as the universe rips itself apart to create you- a race of sentient beings unlike anything before. Your heartbeat will begin at six weeks, it’ll be audible at eight, and for months cells will form and unite to create the bundle of flesh and blood that will soon become your vessel. In time, you will be expelled from the body and into a world made to nourish and destroy you, but you are resilient and will not succumb. Through your existence you will flirt with death and become nature’s lover, embodying curiosity and purity, but you are not alone. The world is filled with life … and this is the result:
