Noughts and Crosses
She came at me,
notwithstanding
our chemistry
with a battering ram
to take down the man,
her shakedown in
my hometown
incredible?
attractively so,
but
I did fight you know
and I didn't exactly choose
to lose
but these things
are sent to try us.
She still comes at me
adding a touch of
insanity to the
spectacle by wearing
a ball gown,
in this town
anything goes.
