Staring out the window.
The wind stirring the storm,
ice blades dropping from the sky.
I stare in awe.
as I see nature take out its hostility.
A beauty all its own

Ice shimmering in this world.
Like diamonds hitting the earth.
Its what I see
Beautiful in its own light.
Reminds me of how cold and cruel life  can be.
For the only enemy that ice has is heat.
So dark to light
Day to night
Yin to yang
The storms come again and again.
As this is life.
