Once in a beautiful city they lived,
Their names were day and night,
Both of them were opposite to each other,
But both of them smiled.

The town was heaven,
The day was brighten, But the night was dark,
How poor did he feel about himself ,
How much did he cry .

The day couldn’t see her night,
Crying after a time,
Every person on the Earth,
Loved the day and cursed the night.

After a time, the night shied,
And went in a shell,
He couldn’t think of other things,
He didn’t think of the day.

Now when there was light every time,
People danced and people smiled,
At first nobody missed the night,
But the worse left by the night.
The day would shine with the brightest light every time,
Without stopping,
The world down the heaven didn’t know,
What was going.

No rest they had,
Dauntless people felt sad,
Because now they knew that,
Light came with Darkness.

The worst was here,
And night not near,
Everybody now regretted their misdeed,
They wanted the night back again.

They told the day to bring the night,
And promised they would never curse him again,
They now knew that,
There was no value of felicity without woes in life.

Now the night was back,
And the day happy,
So now you know,
Why we have darkness,
Despite staying in light.
