Second guessing is a hell of a death sentence
He beat you and you're not the type to go and claim vengeance.
And by beat, I don't just mean in an physical sense
I refuse to hold my tongue anymore about this, I'm giving my two cents

By beat, I mean physically, mentally and unfortunately sexually.
From the beginning, you two hit it off great. You both had that chemistry
Or so you thought, because things started to take a downward spiral
Every day became a struggle to please him, it was a fight for your own survival

But you got out of that in one piece, your mind and body but you vowed your self confidence will begin to increase to where it use to be.

In comes someone new, all signs point to him being the right one.
But your judgment is clouded , and this old dude convinced that you weren't good enough to ever be loved.

You've been battered and bruised, but you still deserve an extraordinary guy
Don't let past experiences cloud your judgement on what's right in front of your eyes

If he is willing to look past your flaws and see you for who you for the star that you are..then take that leap because a normal person would see the things you've been through to be bizarre .
Instead of seeing thing battles you lost as a weakness , he sees that as strength because you're still here standing on both feet and not claiming defeat.
