Clarity consumes the self
In those quiet hours of self reflection

Who am I?
What is my purpose?

Like diamonds the answers refract
Silent shards of prismatic radiance
Swirling and painting a confluence
Of certainty and being

Peace
It seems
Rests in the dark confines of the mind
Whereas the binary relationship
Between night and day
Leans better focus absent the glare
Emitted by life
And light

This yin and yang imbalance
Puzzles me

For is not happiness a function
Bright against the soul?

Is sadness not a blindfold?

...................................

The self returns

Meditation gone

The noise of the world

Carries on
