Feeling this bitter chill,
                 Intruding upon my body,
Warmth I'm craving,
                 Seems to elude me,
I sit nearer the flames,
                 Yet feel not their heat,
I listen to music,
                 Still can't hear a beat,
Spiraling down,
                 Where will it stop,
With me at the bottom,
                 And sadness on top.
