Curtain Call
Being knit-picky won’t let you get by
Every hour you’ll wonder without even knowing it
Forget about the excess
As if you are unaware
Suppressing is not the answer
Relieving and breathing
Surely you can add to that
Carefree and peacefully
Winding down and pivoting down
No time scrounges for allotted share:
Dubious alignments make no amends
Let them see you
for who you are
Let them see you
for what you display
Let them see you
for why you go on about
and do it relentlessly

It's your stage and you define it
