Our souls are an empty slate upon which lessons of life are written. We bring nothing with us into the world but curiosity. We do not know good from evil, we do not know hate and fear. These are things that we are taught or that are learned from our own interactions. We grasp on to what we know and are not often easily persuaded to venture into the unknown. What lies with in each of us is the capacity for a great many things. We can be courageous or fearful, open minded or hateful. We can be ingenious or idiotic, depending on our purpose or need. In truth what lies with in us all is the capacity to chose our own path to some degree. Our circumstances can shape us only so much, from that point on it is our own desires and determination that leads us to our own end.
