Jun 2017
the day chases away a dull dimmed short night
these summer nights hardly night at all
we swim within the Suns flame for nearly a full 24hrs
and its bright even when its clouded
our eyes expand their seeing and other eyes watch on
those of bird and beast and fish
we live exposed flesh to all and sundry
spinning on a spit beneath all star-shine, Suns one and all
Suns one and all by which we navigate the Summer day and summer night.
