As she stares down,
Upon a frozen lake,
Her eyes begin to fill with tears,
As she wonders how long it will take,
Until she will find away to overcome her fears,
A cold breeze blows,
Under a star-lit night,
The moon glows ever so slight,
He took her hand,
He told her there's no need to fright,
I will turn you darkness to light,
Through this life is challenging I know,
I would protect you for my love you shall know,
You my darling my dearest Love you are my one and only true love,
He promised her this,
Finally then,
When the cold breeze came to its bitter end,
Under that strange star lit sky,
The love was only to be temporary,
The love they shared was pure exemplary,
She ended her life with the snap of a chain,
The boy knew he was the only one to blame,
For without her there by his side,
His demons took over and he lost his mind.
