Always packed with patrons many
intent on spending their countries’ money,
George’s club was the social centre
which men of power desired to enter,
and everyone knew that there could be
no better place to talk and see
power and influence at close hand
with leaders abundant from every land.
George, amiable and affable was he,
as relaxed and friendly as could be,
attired in white he looked, well, good,
a proper leader concocting food,
with ever a grace and persuasive smile
that all who saw him did beguile.
