May 2017
Colder than ice
She shivers in the dark
The darkness in which she resides
She can't escape the horrors
Of everything in her mind
The darkness that she created once
It only grows and grows
And somehow she thought that this
Is what she wanted all along
She slips silently into a darker world
With every passing minute
And even though she reaches out
No one can hear her scream
This is what depression feels like to me.
