I would move to see you smile,
I would wake to see you wild,
And languish in solitude for a while,
Abandoning maturity to our inner child,
Thank you for your kindly words,
To soothe and sully my aching pain,
I knew in my heart I was one of your herd,
And my heart would take flight once again.
