The world can hide in a blanket of cloud,
Beneath a song
A city in a broken heart,
Funny how a memory can change with time
The person you were, left behind
In embrace of the dregs of love
Left over in a perfume bottle swept up
By the winds, change
Follow the scent to days and places past,
Hidden in an hourglass,
Pressed within a page
