Green belt
Open spaces too
in London,
some call it a drop in
a pop in
a zoo
and it's two by two
how do you do?
thanks for asking
how are you?
all meaningless
because no one gives
a flying fish.
I could be tripping through the pages of a glossy magazine,
anything's possible when you've seen the dream they try to sell you
Farringdon without,
and you ask
without what?
Well
If you've never had or never got
you'll never miss it or not miss it
a lot.
Army veterans sleeping rough
stil find it tough
you can't train for this life.
these are my streets
among the deaf ears
and the dead beats
you call it a zoo
I call it
home.
