scars-
I've spent a lot of my time
Prayin' that these scars would heal and that
People would stop starring at me as if I had a green monster on my forehead
But I'm learning once again-
scars don't heal, at least not by themselves.
Mama always told me not to pick my scabs; but this one bleeds all on it's own.
