The sea the sea
She calls to me
Waver no more
Plunge soundlessly
Into a depth
Of restful blue
That cunningly deceives
These reflecting eyes
Oh! Fatal power

The sea the sea
Entices me
With her lamentations
Of life’s first stir
Impressed upon cobbles
Tossed to the shore

Come swim with me
She calls
The sea the sea
Waver no more
Dash to me
