I speak unspoken
ten million suns burn dim
a mountain erupting can never
talk louder
the days are long enough
religion is broken down
we are brothers
sisters alone in all this
the dead we left in the ground
our heros
have called for this
this day this awakening
this credo this cry this PEACE
I want Peace
I want love and harmony
I seek it, it urges me on
it implores my gut my marrow
to try to make it somehow
someway on this Earth
this planet
and I cannot make it
cannot make PEACE
myself or with words
oh but I try so
join in
all you out there
make a poem
a painting
a protest
a song a psalm a hymn
to the everlasting
us
and Earth in peace for once
write that name on
every wall
on your face get
a  tattoo
buy peace things
signs
necklaces
start a war for
it
PEACE
for our sake
