Three cats,
                black, white
                  and ginger,
                           at that,
          a formidable
                         combination,
                 that can strike
            with a power
                   combained,
                              are
                              in a conclave
                              in the dining hall floor,

entrenched in  a small hole in a corner,
                                              his head just jutting out,
desperately sniffing at the secret pact,
is a little  mouse, watching the proceedings terrified.
