On a roughly hewn cross, not necessarily like the one we often see today, a man was put to death for what he believed. He stood against the power structure of the day and spoke a simple truth. He said that there was a better way and a better place not of this world. In such agony, the leaders of the day took great offense and had to silence this man. A crowd gathered to chose a murderer over a man who only spoke of peace and helping your fellow man. So who did we crucify that day anyway?
