I will do this; you can depend on me for that. We use promises as easily as we drink water. Gone are the days when the mere word was a bond, now it is a casual thing. A firm handshake has been replaced with contracts and lawyers. The gentleman's agreement has gone the way of many ancient tomes and animals. It can now only be seen in nostalgic movies and museums. What would it take to return to such a way of living, to once again keep the promises we make?
