Mar 2017
a basketful
My basket is full
of everyday things
we take for granted
a refrigerator and freezer
full of food
and a car that gets me
to the store
to buy...yet more
the sun came up
again today
to shine and warm
and smile on me
how "lucky" can I be?
I have my favorite chair
my books, my lamp
my eyes....are there
I can open my mouth
to read
Words of Life
and I have ears to hear
don't you too?
Cj 3.5.2017
For everyΒ Β good thing in my life
I give God thanks.
